Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Dayly ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Dayly iPhone app and visit dayly.codemxm.com (collectively, the "Service"). Dayly is designed to be private by default: your moments and photos stay in your personal app data unless you choose features that require sync or network access.

Dayly D-Day Countdown privacy at a glance

Dayly is a personal countdown and anniversary app. We do not require an account, we do not sell your personal data, and we do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers inside the app.

Information Dayly stores on your device

When you use Dayly, the app stores the content you create locally on your iPhone or iPad, including:

  • Event titles, dates, notes, and countdown settings you enter
  • Photos you attach to moments
  • Theme, widget, and display preferences
  • Reminder schedules you configure
  • Archive and backup files you export or import

Optional iCloud sync for Dayly D-Day Countdown

If you enable iCloud sync, Dayly uses Apple's CloudKit to keep your moments available across your Apple devices signed into the same iCloud account. This data is stored in your private iCloud container and governed by Apple's iCloud terms and privacy practices.

iCloud sync is optional. If you do not enable it, your Dayly data remains on the device where you created it.

Information collected when you subscribe to Dayly Pro

Dayly Pro subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to validate subscription status so the app can unlock Pro features. RevenueCat may receive an anonymous app user identifier and purchase receipt information needed to manage entitlements.

We do not receive your full payment card details. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple.

Permissions Dayly may request

Dayly only asks for device permissions when a feature you choose needs them:

  • Notifications — to deliver reminders you schedule for upcoming dates
  • Photo Library — to attach photos to your moments or memory cards
  • Face ID / Touch ID — to unlock the app when Privacy Lock is enabled
  • Network access — for optional iCloud sync and subscription validation

How Dayly uses your information

We use information only to provide and improve the Dayly D-Day Countdown experience:

  • Display your countdowns, anniversaries, and widgets
  • Send reminders you explicitly configure
  • Validate Dayly Pro subscription or lifetime purchase status
  • Sync your data across devices when iCloud sync is enabled
  • Respond to support requests you send us by email

What Dayly does not do with your data

Dayly does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. The app does not include third-party advertising SDKs or behavioral analytics trackers. We do not use your moments or photos to train AI models.

Website analytics on dayly.codemxm.com

This website may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (such as page views and referrers). This website analytics does not access the personal countdown data stored inside the Dayly app on your device.

Data retention and deletion

Your Dayly moments remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. You can export a private backup at any time (Dayly Pro) and delete individual moments or archived items within the app.

If you uninstall Dayly without iCloud sync enabled, local app data is removed according to iOS behavior. If iCloud sync is enabled, synced data may remain in your iCloud account until you delete it.

Security of your Dayly D-Day Countdown data

Dayly stores your moments in your device's protected app container. Optional Privacy Lock adds Face ID or Touch ID protection when opening the app. While we design Dayly with privacy in mind, no method of electronic storage is completely secure.

Children's privacy

Dayly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Your privacy rights

Because your Dayly data is stored locally on your device (and optionally in your iCloud account), you can access, edit, export, or delete it directly within the app. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to request information about data we process. Contact us at hi@codemxm.com for privacy questions.

Changes to this Dayly privacy policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date on this page. Continued use of Dayly after changes means you accept the updated policy.
